Having completed the digitization of Bernie Knapp's journals and other family history documents in May 2020, Morgan Knapp (grandchild of Bernie and Louise), soon realized that there was a need to make the files more easily accessible to posterity and interested parties. Pondering the best way to make the files accessible, he was inspired to create this website. Having zero knowledge about programming or web design, he taught himself how to code as he went. As such, there may be flaws throughout the site. He plans to continue expanding and improving the website as more files, photos, and histories are added. He hopes that this project will inspire the posterity of Bernie and Louise Knapp to write their own life histories to someday be included in this project.
